About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Crew Leader who is positive, dependable, and ready to create strategic landscaping improvements for a better outdoor client experience. This role works directly with the Owner.

Skills
-
Install and maintain various hard and soft landscaping elements
-
Interpret landscape plan drawings and specification documents
-
Coordinate team member tasks, equipment, and materials for efficient and accurate execution of specifications while maintaining client satisfaction

Lead by example to support culture of strong work ethic and punctuality in a team environment

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the work site, trucks, shop, and equipment
-
Provide training and oversight of team members to support proper landscaping practices

Effective verbal communication which supports respect and professionalism with clients, employees, business partners, and ownership

Experience with problem solving when approaching tasks, challenges and/or situations

Physical stamina to handle certain job responsibilities, including digging, driving, and pulling a trailer

Willingness to learn new skills and responsibilities

Ability to organize projects and motivate a team

Minimum Qualifications
-
3 years prior experience with hardscape and softscape, retaining wall installation, and/or pavers and flagstone installation
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
-
Work authorization (when applicable)

Ability to lift 85 pounds
-
Knowledge of plants typical to local landscapes pertaining to plant identification, proper installation, basic care, and maintenance
-
Proficiency with operating landscape tools, equipment, and machines
-
Willingness to work outdoors year-round during workable weather conditions
-
Capacity to pull a trailer

$25-$29 per hour, based on qualifications and a pay for performance opportunity
